Wasaya Wild's Bawajigaywin, Vision quest is to create new tourism products, experiences and jobs in our Odaynahwing, Towns and Villages and on our traditional lands, at the same time, maintaining First Nation social, cultural, spiritual and environmental integrity and values.
Our Bugwayji, Wild and natural places encompass rich and diverse tourism experiences between Ontario’s James Bay coast Wabun, East to the Ontario/Manitoba border and Giwaydinnoong, North from the Minnesota/Ontario border to Hudson’s Bay. Our office is located on the Fort William First Nation in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
We provide remote First Nations with a centralized support structure and collective voice to market their Ekinamadiwin, Wesinniwin, Culture, Gigounhnug, fishing, hunting and spectacular natural environment like Mukwa, Polar bear viewing, Wawasayg, Northern lights and canoeing on our Michi Zeebee, the Severn, Sachigo, Winisk, Albany and Cat Rivers and exposure to our ancient and colourful history and languages.
Our peoples have been travelling the Ahki, Land for centuries. We know the Maygwayyawk, Forests, the Bugwayji, Wild and Natural places and the Owayseug, Animals and all their mysteries.
